Top 10 Best Survival Gear in 2018 for Your Bug Out Bag

I hope Survival Santa is going to visit your house this year, but just in case he gets lost, here are a few of our favorite gift ideas to treat yourself or someone you know (hint: we’ve saved the best for last)! And the great thing is, regardless of your budget, there’s something here for every bug out bag! Read on to see our “Top 10 Best Survival Gear in 2018…”

1) Condor 3 Day Assault Pack

The Condor 3 Day Assault backpack is by far the best selling bug out bag and for good reason. It is a perfect blend of durability, reliability, flexibility and affordability. If you’ve been putting off getting a bag to begin building your own BOB, the Condor is a great place to start. Check it out here on Amazon. You can also check out some of our other bag recommendations here.

2) LuminAID Solar Lantern

As we’ve said numerous times before, every ounce counts in a bug out bag and LuminAID has the perfect solution for a lightweight, compact and portable solar lantern. They now come with a USB charging port for your phone or other device. Never go without power when you need it most. Now with FREE 3 day shipping just in time for Christmas. Grab several before they’re gone.

3) Mora Survival Knife

If you’ve looked at survival knives you know they can vary greatly in both quality and price. Every now and then there is one that meets the demands for a reliable survival tool/weapon at an incredible price. The Mora knife is now the best price I’ve ever seen it on Amazon and at the time of writing this, it’s currently the “Deal of the Day”so I don’t expect this great offer to last long. Check it out here.

4-10) B.O.S.S. Survival Kits (A Must See!)

And last but certainly not least — Seriously. If you get nothing else on this list, you don’t want to miss these…

Alan Stanford and his team over at Stanford Outdoor Supply has worked tirelessly to create the BEST series of 6 supplemental survival kits I’ve seen in years.

And they’re extremely affordable at just $20-40 each.

I’m not sure how they’ve found a way to create a quality product at such a great price, but you’ll just have to see them for yourself. They’re extremely compact, lightweight and come pre-packed in resealable dry bags with the contents listed right on the label. If you like organization like me, you’re going to love these.

We’ll be publishing reviews of all six of these soon, but for more details now head over to SOS to check them out. Alan will take good care of you.

If you don’t really know where to begin or just want the basics without having to put too much thought into it, these are perfect for peace of mind.

I was just informed they’ve sold out of the survival fire kits, but they still have the other ones available. (They should be getting more fire kits in mid week, so there’s still time!) Like I said, I LOVE these, and will be releasing full reviews/write ups on the site soon.

Merry Christmas!

It’s crazy to think another year has almost come and gone! Myself and the team here at BOBA wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We hope you are able to spend it with the people you love. Be safe, and we look forward to seeing what Survival Santa brings you this year!
